VOCABULARY
Vocabulary from each lesson will be used in speaking, listening, reading, and writing assignments. Vocabulary is based on the lesson topic and includes nouns, verbs, and phrases that would be used in that context.
In addition, learn vocabulary to increase the effectiveness of your communication; that is, vocabulary to describe your own positive and negative feelings, emotions, and needs.
GRAMMAR
Cover grammar rules and concepts including nouns; adjectives; past, present, future, progressive, perfect, and conditional verb tenses; adverbs; conjunctions; pronouns; direct and indirect objects; and interjections.
Learn when to use slang phrases that may not be "correct," but are fun to say!
